Lieutenant General Zahir Ul Islam, HI(M), (Retd), is the former Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI).
He has also served at Commander 5 Corps, Karachi. Presently he is the Chairman of Center for Global & Strategic Studies, Islamabad.

Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed, (Retd) has an experience of 34 years in Pakistan Army. From 2004 to 2005, Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed served as the United Nations Military Observer in Sierra Leone. He also served as the Staff Officer in the Pakistan Task Force in Saudi Arabia from 1990 to 1991. He remained the Force Commander for the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) from 2014 to 2015. As Brigadier, he commanded an Infantry Brigade, served as Director in Military Intelligence Directorate, GHQ and served as Chief of Staff at an important Corps Headquarters. Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed was also the Force Commander of an Infantry Division in Gilgit-Baltistan region of Pakistan.
Major General Masroor holds Postgraduate degree in Defence & Strategic Studies and War Studies from the National Defence University of Islamabad and the Balochistan University, respectively. He is also a Graduate of the Command and General Staff College of Fort Leavenworth in the United States. He is the founding member and Head of Center for Global & Strategic Studies. He has represented Pakistan in many national/international Conferences. He also supervises all the academic/research work of CGSS.
He is also the Member of think tank platform network of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.

Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Gondal is a LLB graduate. He retired as the Federal Secretary to the Government of Pakistan. He served as Secretary in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. He remained Chairman Pakistan Television Cooperation/Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation and Director General Radio Pakistan.
He also remained Principle Information Officer to the Government of Pakistan.
He also remained Press Counselor, Pak High Commission to India, New Dehli for three years.
He also has a unique honor of serving as Press Secretary with six Prime Ministers of Pakistan
He is an expert of strategic studies and has deep knowledge and expertise on Central Asian region.
Presently, he is the senior member of Advisory Board of Center for Global & Strategic Studies.
Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh has served in Pakistan Army for 35 long years. During this period he performed meritoriously at highly cherished command, staff and instructional appointments. He has had the honor to serve Pakistan twice through foreign postings. He served Pakistan on external borders as a diplomat and achieved valuable experience through extensive travels abroad. He is a seasoned management executive with extensive experience in creating, developing and skillfully executing strategic plans. By virtue of his assignments, he has attained expertise in matters closely related with security, both at internal as well as external strategic levels. He has also been awarded SITARA-I-IMTIAZ (MILITARY) by the President of Pakistan for his commendable service.
As alumni of Cadet College Petaro, Government College Lahore and Command & Staff College Quetta, he mastered the acumen to analyze political and defence matters. After retirement, he decided to establish his own business. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Marvellous Business Solutions (Private) Limited, a firm established in December 2008, and has focused on trading and Import as major business activity. He has also served as the Resident Director/Director Business Development in an advertisement agency named Creative Junction (Private) Limited at Islamabad.
Currently, Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh, in addition to managing his own business, is constructively associated as senior advisor with the Centre for Global and Strategic Studies (CGSS), an Islamabad based think tank. CGSS is deeply involved with the youth of Pakistan through its partnership with renowned universities of Pakistan as well as HEC.
Brigadier Mansoor Saeed Sheikh has also been recommended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan, as the Vice President of Uzbek Pakistan Business Council setup under the auspices of the government of Uzbekistan.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram, (Retd) is a broadly skilled Security, Intelligence Advisor and Analyst with proven expertise in driving intelligence requirements for protecting the strategic assets, civilian and military interests, locally and overseas. Has been working for over 22+ years within the Military and Intelligence setup in both strategic and operational capacity. The Intelligence/security deployments that have included assignments across the Asia, Europe and Africa. Recognized as confident communicator and an outstanding mentor who enjoys supporting others, demonstrating a lead-by-example approach whilst working as a team to ensure a unified approach. Retired from Army as a Lieutenant Colonel in November 2015.
Lt Col Khalid, (Retd) is currently the Executive Director of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies, Islamabad (CGSS) since September 2016. CGSS is a international fame Think Tank with mission to help improve policy and decision-making through analysis and research, where he is responsible for implementing and developing plans, leading projects, and working with collaborators to achieve mission of CGSS of finding solutions for sustainable objective policies for regional, extra-regional and beyond. Giving an inlet to the development of an international level network of institutions & organizations which will be broadening the virtue of horizons of the scope of information for better & well defined analysis of advancing the steady state economy as a policy goal with widespread public support. He represents CGSS interests in public forums around the globe.
In addition, he is an independent media and business consultant. He is a frequent commentator and guest analyst on radio and television broadcasts.
