Visit of Mr. Vladimir Norov – Director ISRS to CGSS

On 16th December 2017, Mr. Vladimir Norov - Director Institute of Strategic and Regional Studies (ISRS) under the President of Republic of Uzbekistan and Secretary of National Security Council Uzbekistan visited the CGSS office and held a meeting with Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir Ul Islam HI(M), (Retd) – Chairman CGSS. Other dignitaries who were present are:
a. Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery HI(M), (Retd) – President CGSS
b. Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed (Retd) – Vice President CGSS
c. H.E. Furqat A. Sidikov - Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Pakistan
d. Ambassador Amjad Majid Abbasi – Member Advisory Board CGSS
e. Lieutenant General Naeem Khalid Lodhi - Member Advisory Board CGSS
f. Brigadier Akhtar Nawaz Janjua SI(M), (Retd) - Member Advisory Board CGSS
g. Major Saadullah A. Tashmatov – Defence Attaché, Embassy of Uzbekistan
The visiting dignitary was given detailed briefing on the working of CGSS. It was decided that both institutes will collaboratively work on the enhancement of bilateral relations, economy and trade between Pakistan and Uzbekistan.
