Visit of Admiral Jayantha Perera- Former Naval Chief of Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka to CGSS

On 17th December 2017, Admiral Jayantha Perera- Former Naval Chief of Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka visited the CGSS office and held a meeting with Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir Ul Islam HI(M), (Retd) – Chairman CGSS. Other dignitaries who were present are:
a. Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed (Retd) – Vice President CGSS
b. Mr. Babur Suhail, LL.M-Berkeley - Vice President CGSS
c. Rear Admiral Mukhtar Khan – Director Institute of Maritime Affairs
The visiting dignitary was given detailed briefing on the working of CGSS. Both parties agreed to work together on Indian Ocean Policy and areas of mutual interest and cooperation.
