In-House Discussion on US Strategic Thinking on Afghanistan


On 21st February 2018, CGSS arranged an In-House Discussion on “US Strategic Thinking on Afghanistan”. Dr. Marvin Weinbaum – Middle East Institute, Washington DC, USA was invited as the guest speaker. Dr. Marvin is currently the scholar-in-Residence at the Middle East Institute, Washington DC, USA where he provides analysis on Afghanistan, Iran, Pakistan, terrorism, development issues, political economy, and democratization. He also served as an analyst in the US Department of State’s Bureau of Intelligence and Research for Afghanistan and Pakistan. Other dignitaries who participated in the discussion are:
