Visit Of CGSS Delegation To Area Study Center, University Of Peshawar

On 18th February 2019, a team of CGSS headed by Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) – Executive Director CGSS, accompanied by Mr. Wajahat Abbas – Research Associate CGSS, visited the Area Study Center – University of Peshawar and met with the senior management including;
i. Prof. Dr. Shabir Ahmed Khan – Director Area Study Center
ii. Prof. Dr. Fakhr ul Islam – Director Pakistan Study Center
iii. Dr. Johar Ali – Dean Department of Social Sciences
iv. Dr. Syed Minhaj ul Hassan – Dean Department of Arts and Humanities
During the meeting it was decided that CGSS in collaboration with University of Peshawar will conduct a conference titled “Unity, Faith & Discipline” in the 3rd week of March, 2019 under the series of Conferences titled “Pakistaniat”.
Furthermore, CGSS and Area Study Center will collaborate for joint exchange visit programs to various countries specifically Central Asian Republics, China and Russia. Under this project head, CGSS will organize the visits of various Ambassadors to Area Study Center – University of Peshawar to explore the areas of mutual interest for joint collaboration in the fields of research and development and joint seminars/conferences in this regard.
