Visit of CGSS Team to University of Peshawar, Peshawar

On 4th March, 2019, a team of Center for Global and Strategic Studies headed by Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) – Executive Director CGSS, accompanied by Mr. Wajahat Abbas – Research Associate CGSS, visited the Area Study Center – University of Peshawar and met with the senior management including;
i. Prof. Dr. Shabir Ahmed Khan – Director Area Study Center
ii. Prof. Dr. Fakhr ul Islam – Director Pakistan Study Center
iii. Dr. Miraj ul Islam – Dean Department of Islamic and Oriental Studies
iv. Dr. Syed Minhaj ul Hassan – Dean Department of Arts and Humanities
v. Dr. Rashad Ahmed – Director Sheikh Zayed Islamic Center
vi. Mr. Gohar Rehman – Director Administration
Pursuant to the last meeting with the management of University of Peshawar on 18th February, 2019 in which it was decided that CGSS in Collaboration with University of Peshawar will conduct a Conference on “Unity, Faith and Discipline” under the series of conferences titled “Pakistaniat”.
The agenda of the meeting was to discuss the overall management of event with the participation of students as a targeted audience.
