CGSS Participation at the 14th SCO Forum Meeting in Beijing, China

Brigadier Akhtar Nawaz Janjua, (Retd) – Senior Member Advisory Board CGSS represented Pakistan at the 14th SCO Forum meeting held in Beijing, China on 17 – 18 April 2019. All the leading centers from SCO member and observer states were invited to participate at the Forum. At the Forum, the newly appointed Secretary General of SCO, His Excellency Vladimir Norov stated that over 14 years of its history the forum has established itself as an important venue for discussing topical issues of SCO activities and has become its public consultative and expert mechanism. He pointed out the need for greater practical results from the forum and more comprehensive research and analytical work on a permanent basis so that the expert community's advice and critical reviews could be put to good use in SCO's activities.
