Joint Meeting of CGSS and Area Study Center, University of Peshawar Delegation with His Excellency Furqat A. Sidiqov - Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan

On 18th July 2019, a meeting was held between Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) – Executive Director CGSS, Prof. Dr. Shabir Ahmed – Director, Area Study Center, University of Peshawar and His Excellency Furqat A. Sidiqov - Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan. The agenda of the meeting was the upcoming two day International Conference in September 2019 titled “Belt and Road Initiative, (BRI) China – Pakistan Economic Corridor and Trans-Regional integration” at Area Study Center, University of Peshawar. The subject Conference will be attended by prominent dignitaries from China and SCO countries. His Excellency Furqat A. Sidiqov – Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan admired and congratulate CGSS and Area Study Center, University of Peshawar on collaborating with number of countries and wish them best of luck in their future endeavors.
