Executive Director CGSS visit to Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), Beijing, China

On 24th July, 2019, Lieutenant Colonel Taimur Akram (Retd) - Executive Director, CGSS was visited by Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS) in Beijing, China. He was received and hosted by Professor Li Jinfeng, Executive Director of Center for Belt & Road and Research Center of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The Executive Director of CGSS was shown the various departments of CASS and he also met with the Director of International Studies Branch and Director of Eurasian Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Science (CASS). Since, CGSS and CASS are partner organizations and CGSS provides valuable research input on Belt & Road, so it was decided that joint Conferences and Roundtable sessions will be conducted. The Executive Director of CGSS also delivered on detailed talk on “Socio – Economic and Political Implications of CPEC in Pakistan” to the senior faculty members of CASS.
