Video Interview Recording of His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin - Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan by CGSS Bulletin

On 20th September 2019, a team of CGSS visited the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan, Islamabad and recorded the interview of His Excellency Ismatullo Nasredin - Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Islamic Republic of Pakistan under its series of CGSS Bulletin. Ms. Mehreen Gul – Director CGSS conducted the interview which focused on the bilateral relationship of Pakistan and Tajikistan in terms of regional connectivity. In the interview, the Ambassador stated that Pakistan and Tajikistan share many historical and cultural ties besides geographical vicinity. Furthermore, achievements of Tajikistan since its independence in 1992 were deliberated by the Excellency. He stated that the development of CPEC and BRI will provide access to Tajikistan and other Central Asian countries which can grow trade, rail and road connectivity which is significant for the regional integration. Central Asia – South Asia Power Project (CASA 1000) was also discoursed.
