Delegates from Belt and Road Countries visit to Ministry of Foreign Affairs


On 16th December 2019, the international delegates visited Pakistan for the Cross Regional Media Fusion among Belt and Road partners conference, organized by CGSS.
The international delegates with CGSS team members were taken to a visit to the ministry of Foreign Affairs for a briefing about the CPEC project and it's various initiatives in the region.
Mr. Mudasir Tipu - Director General China, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad. Briefed the delegates and commented on the importance of CPEC in the belt and road initiative. He also talked about the various highways and improved infrastructure of Pakistan because of CPEC projects. He mentioned that among all the projects initiated under the Belt and Road project, CPEC was the most fruitful and progressive project as the results can already be seen in parts of Pakistan like the Gwadar port.
He further stressed on the improved and more strong ties with China as people of both countries are coming close. The briefing continued with the discussion of Pakistan's relations with Central Asian countries and the need of bilateral ties between countries who are connected through CPEC.
The discussion ended with a question answer session with the delegates in which the role of Media fusion was discussed and praised.
