CGSS Delegation Visit to Asan Xidmat: A Revolutionary Concept at Baku, Azerbaijan

On 6th February 2020, CGSS delegtaion comprising of Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) - Executive Director CGSS, Dr. Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan – Member Board of Experts, CGSS and Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal - Department of International Relations, Quaid-eAzam University visited icon Asan Xidmat office at Baku, Azerbaijan. The leadership and officials briefed about different applications and strategic utilities that has revolutionised social service in Azerbaijan and has converted miseries into similes. It was created in 2012 with the decree of H.E. Ilham Aliyev - President of Azerbaijan. It is a Value addition to achieve Azerbaijan’s Strategic Road Map goals. It is a gigantic step towards massive digitalisation in which further improvements have already been institutionalised with the introduction of Artificial intelligence mechanism. More than 350 different social services have been incorporated under the umbrella of Asan Xidmat. It is making life easy and meaningful which has certain socio/economic multiplier.
