CGSS participation at the Roundtable Session on “Kyrgyzstan – Pakistan Partnership for Trade and Investment”

On 5th March 2020, Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) – Executive Director CGSS participated at the Roundtable Session on “Kyrgyzstan – Pakistan Partnership for Trade and Investment” organized by the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic, Islamabad. The event commenced with the welcome speech by His Excellency Erik Beishembiev – Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan.
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) gave a detailed presentation regarding opportunities for trade and investment between Pakistan and Kyrgyz Republic. He stated that Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan possess a strategic outreach at regional as well as the global stage. Both the countries are geographically located on vital positions in the region, in this context, both can benefit from each other by promoting bilateral relations in the trade sector.
The event was attended by experts from the fields of trade and investment.
