On the occasion of the 9th International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) 2020 in Sharjah at Sharjah Expo Center Dr Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan - Member Board of Experts CGSS, Pakistan met with the honorable Mrs. Michaelle Jean - Governor General & Commander-in-Chief of Canada.
Discussion regarding challenges faced by people in the contemporary era and the emerging threats of non-state actors, and especially climate change was discussed.
Mrs. Michaelle Jean shared her experiences as the Governor General of Canada and how she overcame various problems being faced by Canadians, in the past through clarity of communication and unity of command.
Dr Mehmood Ul Hassan Khan elaborated the positive and participatory role of CGSS to promote a constructive approach in government to government communications for changing the global perspective of Pakistan and to highlight the scope, horizon and utility of governance and connectivity present in Pakistan.
Mrs. Michaelle Jean appreciated the positive role of CGSS for reducing barriers and promoting spirits of friendship and better understanding through dialogue and diplomacy.
