Meeting of Dr. Fouzia Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center (RIC), University of the Punjab, Lahore with Ms. Palwasha Nawaz, Project Executive, Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad

On 13th January 2021, Dr. Fouzia Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center (RIC), University of the Punjab, Lahore visited the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad, and met with Ms. Palwasha Nawaz, Project Executive, CGSS.
During the meeting, various activities of the Regional Integration Center (RIC) established by the University of the Punjab, Lahore were discussed.
The Center is established to enhance academic cooperation between the universities of Pakistan and Eurasian region. Center for Global & Strategic Studies, Islamabad is a collaborative partner of the RIC.
It was also decided that CGSS and the University of the Punjab, Lahore under Regional Integration Center (RIC) will initiate customized training programs and internships for the capacity building of the students. Furthermore, specialized exchange programs for the students and academic experts of Pakistan and the Eurasian region were also discussed.
During the meeting, it was also agreed that CGSS and the University of the Punjab, Lahore will closely work to discover new avenues of collaborations between Pakistan and the Eurasian region. Additionally, new academic projects to enhance Pakistan’s academic ties with Eurasian countries were finalized.
Ms. Palwasha Nawaz also presented the ‘CGSS Year Book 2020’ to Dr. Fouzia Ali, Director, Regional Integration Center (RIC), University of the Punjab, Lahore.
