Meeting of His Excellency Erik Beishembiev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan with Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad

On 10th March 2021 Mr. Khalid Taimur Akram, Executive Director, CGSS visited the Embassy of Kyrgyz Republic and had a meeting with His Excellency Erik Beishembiev, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Pakistan.
During the meeting various avenues of cooperation were discussed including academic collaborations between institutions of Kyrgyz Republic and Pakistan. Furthermore, academic exchange programs for students and faculty members were also brought under discussion.
It was also agreed that joint research projects will be initiated by CGSS and think tanks of Kyrgyz Republic. This will create an opportunity to explore and highlight different sectors of connectivity like trade, economy, academia, and culture between both countries.
His Excellency Erik Beishembiev recognized and appreciated the active role played by CGSS in regional connectivity and specifically in improving bilateral relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyz Republic.
