Prize Distribution Ceremony of the Article Writing Competition, “30 Years of Pakistan-Tajikistan Diplomatic Relations: Towards Achieving Future Aspirations” jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan and the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad

On 24th May 2022 a prize distribution ceremony was organized at the Embassy of Tajikistan to Pakistan for the Article Writing Competition, “30 Years of Pakistan-Tajikistan Diplomatic Relations: Towards Achieving Future Aspirations” jointly organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan and Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad.
The ceremony was organized to appreciate the young scholars who participated and secured positions in the article writing competition. H.E Ismatullo Nasredin, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan was the chief guest of the occasion.
H.E the ambassador appreciated and acknowledged the efforts of the young scholars and stated that initiatives like these motivate young researchers to study and write about the brotherly ties between Pakistan and Tajikistan. It also helps in strengthening people-to-people contact between the countries.
The ceremony was also attended by Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed Gondal, Vice President (Federal Region), CGSS, members of CGSS management, position holders of the competition, and diplomatic staff of the embassy of Tajikistan in Pakistan.
Young scholars and researchers from across Pakistan participated in the competition and sent their articles on various themes including the growing bilateral ties between Pakistan & Tajikistan, the role of Tajikistan in the region, and the national development strategy of Tajikistan.
The competition received more than 50 articles from across the country, out of which the following scholars secured positions,
First Position: Ms. Fizza from Islamabad
Second Position: Ms. Laraib Fatima Hassan & Ms. Aimen Jamil from Islamabad
Third Position: Mr. Fakhar Hussain, from Sahiwal
H.E Ismatullo Nasredin, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to Pakistan distributed certificates to the position holders of the competition and encouraged them to write more about Tajikistan-Pakistan bilateral ties in the future as well.
