Lieutenant General Zahir Ul Islam, HI(M), (Retd), is the former Director General of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI). He has also served at Commander 5 Corps, Karachi. Presently he is the Chairman of Center for Global & Strategic Studies, Islamabad.
President
Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery HI(M), (Retd) is the former Director General Anti-Narcotics Force and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Bosnia-Herzegovina. He served on various command, staff and instructional assignments including Military Intelligence Directorate, General Headquarters and Inter-Services Intelligence Headquarters.
Vice President
Major General Hafiz Masroor Ahmed served as the Force Commander for the United Nations Operation in Côte d'Ivoire (UNOCI) from 2014 to 2015 and United Nations Military Observer in Sierra Leone from 2004 to 2005. He holds a postgraduate degree in Defence & Strategic Studies and War Studies from the National Defence University of Islamabad and the Balochistan University, along with a graduate degree from Command and General Staff College of Fort Leavenworth in the United States.
Executive Director
Lieutenant Colonel Khalid is the Executive Director since September 2016 where he is responsible for implementing and developing plans, leading projects, and working with collaborators to achieve mission of CGSS of finding solutions for sustainable objective policies for regional, extra-regional and beyond.

Ms. Laraib Fatima Hassan is responsible for liaison, coordination, and communication of CGSS for the efficient and smooth functioning of CGSS
