Visit of the CGSS delegation to China Telecom, Beijing China

On 18th April, 2018 the Delegation of CGSS and All Pakistan Newspaper Society (APNS) visited the office of China Telecom in Beijing, China. Chen Zhongyue –Vice President of China Telecom started the proceedings of the meeting by giving his welcome address and introducing the Chinese team after meet and greet of the guests from Pakistan. This was followed by introduction of Pakistan’s media delegation and background of their visit to China.
The CGSS delegation and China Telecom’s Team discussed matters of mutual cooperation including future cooperation on China Pakistan Information Corridor. China Telecom is the world’s biggest cellphone company and has shown keen interest in enhancing the cooperation between the two organizations in research and analysis on Cyber Security and Telecommunication. The presentation by China Telecom focused on:
1. China Telecom’s transformation strategy and path.
2. China Telecom’s overseas expansion.
The meeting was attended by representative of Guangming Daily, China Telecom and CGSS.This meeting was arranged by the strategic partner of CGSS in China -Guangming Daily (The largest Chinese language newspaper in the world).
