Visit of Delegation from Republic of Uzbekistan to CGSS

On 18th April 2018, Delegation from Republic of Uzbekistan visited CGSS along with H.E Mr. Furqat A. Sidiqov –Ambassador of Republic of Uzbekistan to Pakistan. The delegation was received by Lieutenant General Muhammad Zahir Ul Islam HI(M), (Retd) – Chairman CGSS. A meeting was held to discuss terms and conditions of a Memorandum of Understanding to be signed later in the day. A brief overview was given to the visiting delegation from Republic of Uzbekistan about activities of CGSS. It was decided that the delegation Republic of Uzbekistan will cooperate with CGSS to enhance bilateral ties. CGSS through the Embassy of Republic of Uzbekistan, Islamabad will establish contact with think tanks of Republic of Uzbekistan so that joint research can be carried out on areas of interest.
