Visit of delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, China to CGSS

On 2nd June 2019, a high level delegation from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, China visited CGSS. The visiting dignitaries were experts on the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) and Central Asian Studies.
The delegation from China was welcomed by Major General Syed Khalid Amir Jaffery HI(M), (Retd) – President CGSS. During the meeting various significant issues were discussed including the expectations of Pakistan to Shanghai Cooperation Organization. How China and Pakistan will cooperate within the framework of the SCO. Furthermore, the strategy was discussed for the interactions between Pakistan and Central Asian countries. During the meeting, it was discussed that SCO can serve as the best platform for economic cooperation among member states of SCO.
The visiting dignitaries from China included:

b. Prof. Xu Wenhong, Deputy Secretary General of the Center for Belt and Road, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing, China
