Meeting of Lt Col Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) – Executive Director CGSS with Mr. Sherali Jononov, Deputy Secretary-General Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO)

On 10th February, 2020 Lt Col Khalid Taimur Akram (Retd) met with Mr. Sherali Jononov, Deputy Secretary – General Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Baku, Azerbaijan.
During the meeting SCO’s positive role for the region was discussed as well as the impact of SCO’s immense potential and capacity for Regional Integration.
The SCO Deputy General, Mr. Sherali Jononov appreciated the role of CGSS in strengthening bilateral relations between SCO countries and various initiatives taken by CGSS for the better production of SCO projects.
It was also decided during the meeting that CGSS will work closely with SCO to enhance and promote regional connectivity in the coming days.
