Meeting of CGSS Management with Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Political Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore

On 8th December 2020, CGSS Management visited the University of the Punjab, Lahore, and had a meeting with Dr. Mahboob Hussain, Chairman, Department of History and Pakistan Studies, University of the Punjab, Lahore.
It was discussed that the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad will facilitate in organizing an international conference to celebrate the legacy of Zahir ud Din Muhammad Babar, the great Mughal emperor. Furthermore, a center specifically designated to Zahir ud Din Muhammad Babar will also be established in the History Department of Punjab University, Lahore.
It was also decided that CGSS and the History Department of Punjab University, Lahore will jointly collaborate in projects of research and development. Furthermore, important data will also be compiled related to Pakistan's historical and cultural Linkages with the Central Asian region.
Dr. Mahboob Hussain appreciated the efforts of CGSS for enhancing academic linkages of Pakistan with regional countries.
