Online Meeting of CGSS Management with Tsinghua University, China

On 22nd December 2020, the management of the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad had an online meeting with Professor Shi Zhiqin, Director, Belt and Road Strategy Institute and Ms. Zoon Ahmed Khan, Research Fellow, Institute of the Belt and Road Initiative, Department of International Relations from the Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, a major research university in Beijing, and a member of the C9 League of Chinese universities as well.
During the meeting, various academic projects by CGSS were explained. It was decided that CGSS and Tsinghua University will collaborate to initiate joint online conferences and research & development opportunities for students of Pakistan and China, especially to know more about the Belt and Road Initiative and Pakistan’s perspective on the ongoing projects.
Furthermore, CGSS and Tsinghua University, China will collaborate to initiate panel discussions and a series of lectures by scholars from Pakistan and China.
