Six weeks On-Campus Internship Program for the Under-Grad Students of Bahria University is being organized by the Center for Global & Strategic Studies (CGSS), Islamabad.
Mr. Tariq Khattak, Member Board of Experts, CGSS discussed 10 Habits of Highly Successful People. Mr. Tariq Khattak commenced his lecture by defining habits that are automatic decisions or responses based on your learning and belief. He also mentioned that habits build one’s identity and character.
Furthermore, he mentioned that knowledge and desires build habits. He stated that intelligence quotient, emotional quotient, and social quotient are the components that perceive your surroundings. Furthermore, he suggested that before reacting to things, one must analyze them first and then respond.
Mr. Tariq Khattak emphasized character building as it makes the personality strong. He stated that practice makes habits and our habits make or break the success routine. He focused on positive thinking and stated that a positive thinker can make a positive impact on society. Mr. Tariq stated that your attitude defines your altitude, so be positive with yourself first and there must be alignment between your attitude and altitude.
Mr. Tariq suggested the students develop good habits and eliminate bad ones. He mentioned the habits for success such as early rising, exercise, appearance, focused thinking, socializing communications, and being positive.
The lecture was followed by an interactive session where students asked questions. The session was moderated by Mr. M. Suleman Khan, student of 8th semester, Bahria University Islamabad and CGSS intern.
